How FragaBerry handles your information.
FragaBerry ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the FragaBerry iOS application (the "App") handles information.
By installing or using the App you agree to the practices described below. If you disagree, please uninstall the App.
FragaBerry is local-first. The following data is created and stored only on your iPhone or iPad using SwiftData and Apple's standard storage APIs:
We do not have servers that store any of the data above. We have no way to access it remotely.
Your batches, readings and photos never leave your device unless you explicitly export them or rely on iCloud Backup, which is governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy.
The AI Vision module uses the iPhone camera to grade berries. Photos are analysed on-device; nothing is uploaded for grading.
Camera access is only requested the moment you open the AI Vision screen and can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
The App performs a small number of network calls. Each one is described below.
/api/sync on our backend with the bundle identifier, app version and a push subscription identifier provided by OneSignal. The response tells the App whether it is up to date or whether an update is available. We do not use IDFA, do not call ATTrackingManager, and do not embed any analytics, advertising, or social-tracking SDKs.
FragaBerry is a professional tool aimed at greenhouse growers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
FragaBerry is available in multiple regions. Because all personal data stays on your device, there are no cross-border data transfers triggered by the App itself, beyond the limited update-check and OneSignal traffic described above.
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last Updated" date above always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
