Privacy Policy

FragaBerry ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the FragaBerry iOS application (the "App") handles information.

By installing or using the App you agree to the practices described below. If you disagree, please uninstall the App.

FragaBerry is local-first. The following data is created and stored only on your iPhone or iPad using SwiftData and Apple's standard storage APIs:

• Farm profile (farm name, owner, location text, area, tank volume, currency)
• Strawberry batches (planting dates, projected yield, status)
• Environmental readings (temperature, humidity, CO₂, EC, pH, notes)
• Nutrient recipes and dashboard configuration
• Tasks and reminders you create
• Camera images you capture for AI Vision grading
• App preferences and onboarding flags

We do not have servers that store any of the data above. We have no way to access it remotely.

The AI Vision module uses the iPhone camera to grade berries. Photos are analysed on-device; nothing is uploaded for grading.

Camera access is only requested the moment you open the AI Vision screen and can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.

The App performs a small number of network calls. Each one is described below.

• Update check — on launch the App calls /api/sync on our backend with the bundle identifier, app version and a push subscription identifier provided by OneSignal. The response tells the App whether it is up to date or whether an update is available.
• OneSignal push notifications — if you allow notifications, OneSignal Inc. processes a device-vendor identifier (IDFV) and a push subscription token in order to deliver pushes. You can decline this prompt; the App keeps working.
• WebKit (mandatory update flow) — only if a mandatory update is required for your build, the App opens a webpage on our domain inside a system WebView. Standard web cookies, cache and storage rules apply to that page.

We do not use IDFA, do not call ATTrackingManager, and do not embed any analytics, advertising, or social-tracking SDKs.

• OneSignal Inc. — push notification delivery. See OneSignal's privacy notice on their website.
• Cloudflare Inc. — hosts the update-check endpoint. Cloudflare logs the standard IP and request metadata used for any HTTP service.
• Apple Inc. — App Store distribution, push delivery, optional iCloud Backup. Apple's own Privacy Policy applies.

• SwiftData / file storage inside the App's sandbox
• iOS file-system encryption
• HTTPS for every network call
• No analytics or advertising SDKs of any kind

FragaBerry is a professional tool aimed at greenhouse growers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

FragaBerry is available in multiple regions. Because all personal data stays on your device, there are no cross-border data transfers triggered by the App itself, beyond the limited update-check and OneSignal traffic described above.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last Updated" date above always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
